Housing Programs

Opelousas Housing Authority (OHA) provides housing opportunities for eligible individuals, families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities through the Public Housing program. OHA also offers Emergency Housing for individuals and families who qualify.

OHA does not offer housing assistance through the HCV (Housing Choice Vouchers) program, previously known as the Section 8 program.
