Opelousas Housing Authority offers low-rent public housing to eligible individuals and families. Our Administration Office is located at 906 E. Laurent Street, Opelousas, LA 70570, and is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM  and 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Eligibility is based on income level and family composition including elderly and single individuals. Priority housing is given to individuals affected by fires, explosions, or tornadoes. Persons affected by these should apply even if listings are closed.
